Install Modem on Ubuntu using Sakis3g - Sakis3G is a tweaked shell script which is supposed to work out-of-the-box for establishing a 3G connection with any combination of modem or operator. It automatically setups your USB or Bluetooth� modem, and may even detect operator settings. You should try it when anything else fails.

This trick to you if your modem not support for ubuntu or linux, you can install sakis3g in your laptop and you can connect to internet with your modem.

This steps to install sakis3g:
1. Download sakis3g, open your terminal
2. Change the permission of sakis3g
3. Copy sakis3g to directory /usr/bin
4. Run sakis3g, type sudo sakis3g
5. Finish instalation of sakis3g, now you can connect sakis3g to your modem.
6. To Connect sakis3g after put your modem to usb, you can click Connect with 3g >> USB Device >> USB Modem. and after that you can click the provider name.
