Changing Sleep delay


I have a Huawei P9 Lite and my son has exactly the same phone if I go to settings,Display and Sleep I can change it to 10 min but on my sons phone you go to settings,Display exactly the same but the sleep is dull so you cant go into it and it is set at 30 sec which is very frustrating,how do you sort that out? I dont know If there is another setting that needs to be changed.
