Yes its obvious which has been proved.
Digital : Signals are discontinuous.
Analog : Signals are continuous.
These days digital is far better than analog signals,in our daily life we come across some examples such as digital camera & video camera and many more. We are even converting analog to digital(such as like data of VCR tapes are converted to hard-disk).analog is the process of taking an audio or video signal (in most cases, the human voice) and translating it into electronic pulses. Digital on the other hand is breaking the signal into a binary format where the audio or video data is represented by a series of "1"s and "0"s. Simple enough when its the device�analog or digital phone, fax, modem, or likewise�that does all the converting for you.
It depends on attenuation(change in strength),distortion(change in shape of signal),noise(Thermal,impulse,cross talk).Analog depends variations on air pressure of the original sound.Digital depends on the continuous variations but they again have to be reconverted to analog signals before they can be listened(Music or any other).
